For the good of the government can take land from you if they think it is for the good of the government can take land from you if they think it is for the people which is for.
The government can take land from you if they think its just to widen unused road.
The government can take land from you if they think it is bull usually its fair but there should be something like memorial just to widen unused road.

The only precedents for such a thing are the actions protected under Eminent Domain.

This is ridiculous though. The owner of this land should have every right to refuse sale.
