As your son doesnt they will advise its no there problem. The owner of the property will take your son to court to get the reapir/dmaages money back, as of his age, i suspect they will serve the writ to you. The only simple option is to offer the prooerty owner the cost to repair, as this may work out chepae rin the long run, alsothe police will have to due process your son, if they have made a complaint, if not make peace with them and pay for the repairs, saving your son criminal charges. hope this helps..
