If using savings bonds as collateral for a secured loan who keeps possession?

I’m looking into getting a secured personal loan for improvements to a new home and would like to use my savings bonds as collateral. When I do this can I continue to keep the bonds in my safe deposit box or do I have to physically turn them over to the bank?

I need to pay off some bills and I want to us my new car as collateral. I paid 19K for it this month. Could I get a loan for 14K with awful credit? I needed a good car for my job but I also want to pay off some bills!
The car is 100% paid off. And I am trying to clear up old debt and my credit. I have a good job and am paying off bills from when I was hurt at work and couldn’t work for almost 2 years.

I was wondering if i get a secured loan for a thousand dollars and put up a thousand dollars as Collateral. don’t ask why i want to build my credit. my question is if i pay it off in less than a month before there is any interest does it count as you paid the loan off and go good for your credit. This is all new to me i thought how it worked was you need to put up something equal or greater. so 1000 dollars is equal or greater than the 1000 so can i pay it off under a month to avoid interest cost.

I had to quit my job to stay home and care for my son who has CP. He had 2 big surgeries in two weeks time. One to correct complications from the first. So we have now lost one income and have new large medical bills rolling in. We are getting really far behind and our credit is now down the tubes. Does anyone no where we can get a secured personal ie meaning we have some collateral?

My fiance recently applied for a secured loan using her paid off vehicle as collateral and I cosigned on the loan. She was denied. I have decent credit(no negatives and a car loan that I’ve paid on time for the past 20 months). Should we transfer the title into my name so I can apply for the loan myself.
