The place where flight 93 crashed. The person who owned the property wouldn’t sell to the families of the crash victims. So the families were asking the govt. to seize the land from this guy just so they could build a memorial there. Would they like it if the govt. seized all of their houses?

In other countries when banks repossess they have no right to go after anybody for the shortfall. It is a risk they took on by lending against a property. In the UK it is high time the law changed regarding this. The banks are a law unto themselves and this must change. It is obvious the poor buyer is being made to shoulder the carelessness of the bank where the property has been over valued.Even in cases where the property has not been over valued I do not think it is fair for them to be allowed to recoup the shortfall from buyers.

Yet, it wouldn’t work with the perceived threat of an irate boss, rising property taxes, crashed computer, idiot coworkers, etc. You get the idea. my friend lives in a rent home. the owner stop pay the mortgage because they no longer want the home. My friend is interested to buy the home since she already lives there. The owner tells my friend that he is going to put the house on short sale so she could buy it. The short sale process has not yet started . my friend still lives in the house waiting on the short sale agreement with the bank.

well , yesterday some people came to the house saying the bank told them to put a lock on the house doors. but because my friend was there the guy say they cannot change the lock since someone is living n the house. so they took my friends name and tell her the will forward the Information ( that someone is in the house) to the bank.

i think the house is now in pre foreclosure

my question is what will the bank do next? will they kick my friend out the house immediately? should my friend stay in the house til the short sale agreement or the bank says something?

Sell and Rent Back

I have a website that currently advertises property for sale in Goa. I would like to look into creating space in that site for people to advertise their places to rent. I want the facility for people to fill in all the details about the property on an online form, upload a few photos and pay a nominal fee by credit card. Is it possible to add that to an existing web site or would it be better to start from scratch with a custom e commerce site?

they buy your property about 10-15% cheaper than the market value,with the option of you renting it back- do you think these companies are dodgy. I am in the process of selling my flat to one of these people, not to rent back, just because i want to get rid quick, but i am worried i am going to get stung- has anyone got any stories to share?
