No, not in the US. It’s not your property, it’s your father’s.

Two things In India.
If that property your father is owning, is a old family property like your Grand father’s or great grand father and comes through. Then you have every right in claiming rent and even in the property you have a share.
Indian Govt changed laws that even daughters have rights on family property.
Another thing, if suppose that property is brought by your dad from his own money through his own earning and not any family property…alas! I fear you dont have any right on that one. your dad has every right on it and he can decide on whom he want to give. He can even give it to some orphanage and no one can question him. First you should clarify that whether this property of father is Self-acquired – which means that whether father has acquired this property form his own earnings or through family inheritance ; if the property is family property than daughter cam lay claim otherwise not.
Daughter has the right to his father;s property. After the death of father daughter’s claim is legally acceptable, if father is alive the property or the share of the property has to be distributed / transferred under a clear deed then only the property becomes the daughter’s property. The daughter has no claim what so ever on the accrued income on the father’s property unless the father distributes it.
